The Gloster Gladiator has a 64" (162.5 cm) wingspan for 90 2-stroke or 120 4-stroke engines. The kit is based on the Sea Gladiator on display in the Malta Museum, the fuselage of which was recovered from a quarry on Malta. This is the original fuselage surviving from World War II of the famous "Faith" aircraft (of the Faith, Hope and Charity trio). There is a short excerpt showing this Gladiator in the Malta Museum at the end of our video.

Flying the Gladiator is a relaxed business; it will cope with calm or gale-force conditions without any problems. It is extremely quick to build, using precision injection-moulded components. For example, the cabane and wing struts are finished and ready to use. Many other bolt-on parts are included in the kit, which also incorporates a fibreglass fuselage moulded with panel lines, a fibreglass cowling and foam veneer wings, undercarriage wire, pre-cut tailplane assembly, various other balsa parts and a PVC bubble canopy. The plan included illustrates how the parts fit together and gives all the dimensions necessary to build the model.

A parts list is enclosed with every kit which can be returned to us in the unfortunate event of an accident! All the plastic components are thus replaceable at reasonable prices. A new parts list is returned to you with every spares order.
