SKYMASTER
MK II
This aerobatic bi-plane was created by Chris Foss and Ken Binks and is based on the prototype ¼ size Pitts made by Phil Ramsey. It has a wingspan of 56" (142cm) and an engine size of 60 2-stroke or 90 4-stroke. The skymaster was successfully used by the Skymaster demonstration team for over five years; at home in air shows at Biggin Hill, Sandown Park, Sywell, Graveney and the World Championships at Woodvale, and abroad at Beaumont in France. The team of four fliers, noted for their models colour scheme of yellow, black and white, performed various aerobatic manoeuvres in formation, including the simultaneous release of coloured smoke flares, for which the Skymaster as a model was ideally suited. This very pretty bi-plane has a new wing section and four ailerons to combine excellent low speed handling with its outstanding aerobatic capability, even in limited flying space. The Skymaster is equally suited for training or sport flying as it is extremely smooth to fly, as well as possessing unlimited scope in manoeuvrability. It is especially proficient at Touch and Gos. The Mk II version also makes use of moulded outer wing struts to add to the models strength in the air. The all-up weight of the Skymaster is 7lbs approximately. The Skymaster kit includes a white fibreglass fuselage and cowling, foam veneer wings, pre-bent wire cabanes and undercarriage, pre-cut tailplane assembly and wingtips, various plastic parts as used on other models in our range, tailwheel bracket, elevator horns, outer struts and strut locators, aileron connector locators and closed loop rudder horns plus an extensive selection of balsa and plywood parts for completion and a PVC cockpit canopy. Skymaster kit price: £155.00 Courier Delivery: £14.00
